Aksys Games have announced a release date for BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma in North America. The game will be available March 25th, 2014, and first-print copies will come with a DLC code for Ragna’s arch-nemesis, Yuki Terumi.

As reported in the past, a limited edition to BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma will be available in addition to the regular edition. This will include the following items:

  • 40-page full colour artbook featuring a variety of artists
  • Soundtrack CD with music from Daisuke Ishiwatari
  • Rachel Alucard Nendoroid “Petite” figurine
  • Fighting Moves poster with a move list for each character
  • Special Features Blu-ray containing interviews with BlazBlue development staff

New to BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma are features like the online 64-player lobbies, a new Library feature containing a glossary of terminology from the BlazBlue series and other fighting games in general.

  • Keko

I must get that Rachel Nendo, no matter what.

    • Wappuli

If only it was a normal nendoroid instead of petit.
      But still a must get.

    • Romancer Ecclesia

Oh Rachel… why must you be exactly a vampire tsundere gothic loli? You pushed all the right buttons in me like a Konami cheat code <3 <3 <3

    • Arcana Wiz

i know! it is calling me it could be bigger… but it a ust the same way.

    • mike dickson

i want it too ! im getting annoyed on how long its taking them to put the pre order up for this

  • xe7en

Will be getting this for sure. But I don’t approve that they still haven’t made kokonoe and terumi available on launch and decided it to be paid dlc character. C’mon arc, you’re better than this.

    • Romancer Ecclesia

Maybe there will be an extend version for the vita with all the DLC characters. Kokonoe’s ripe for milking after two installments without being an available fighter.

      • xe7en

There’s a high probability of that happening. All iterations have made it to handheld console so far. And for Kokonoe… She’s so ripe the developer decided to make her broken/powerful.

        • Arcana Wiz

yeah :/ I was on fence about Kokonoe but in the end she is broken, so i’ll stick with learning Izayoi. If they ever patch her, maybe,

          • Herok♞

As someone who has already played Kokonoe for a few hours she is not a broken character and is still perfectly fair

          • xe7en

lol. You definitely haven’t played much of kokonoe if that is the case. She has every tool there is that makes her top tier; god like normal, okizime, mixup, speed and even her character hitbox makes her ridiculously overpowered. I play litchi and i think shes top tier together with valk, tao, haz, jin and haku but kokonoe is definitely SSS+ tier/800 yen tier.

          • Herok♞

Here’s the thing have you ever played her or have you only watched videos of people who have mastered her, sure once you really learn a character they can be that overpowered, but since I am still learning her I have played against people who know their characters and against them its not like shes broken enough to instakill everyone

          • xe7en

Played her. She’s actually fun and easy to use, but is difficult/hell to fight against if you’ve tried online netplay or go to local tourney against a good koko. Her blackhole setups is annoying imo.

    • Herok♞

To be fair terumi is free if you buy the game at launch, which in my opinion is a fair tactic since if you planned on getting the game day 1 you get rewarded and if you were on the fence its extra incentive.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Hits North America Way Too Late

    • Byron Kerrison II

      Better late than NEVER.

  • Servant BerserCAR

“No… no no no no no NO NO NOOOOOOO!!!!” ~ my wallet

  • Arcana Wiz

March, oh well gotta start saving up for the CE.

  • DemonShadowX

    Ugh….. My wallet….. It hurts…..

  • Duo Maxwell

My wallet. There is no time to rest.

  • Freud_Hater

…Didn’t we already know this? XD

  • Wrengear

Is it sad that I’m considering buying this just for the move guide and the Bluray? I already bought the Japanese limited edition box that came with the silk wall scroll.
    Hopeless fandom is hopeless.

    • KuroRyuu913

No. did the same but got the dl verasion. But im buying the hard copy this time.
Want all the extras. Might give the game to a friend.

  • Freud_Hater

…So will this be available at stores like GameStop? Not that I particularly like them, but I dislike online shopping D:

  • I’m not much of a BB player anymore, but this is a great looking CE for those who are. Enjoy it, y’all! ^__^

    • 하세요

Same, but I’d get if it were a Nendoroid of a character I like, such as Taokaka or Platinum (granted with her, that’s just a regular figure.) I really don’t care much for Rachael.

  • Kornelious

I really REALLY hop we get dat box :)

    • Kornelious

      Dis box!

      • Arcana Wiz

Celica~ And maybe Noel, and rachel is cute here too, but i aint in lolis :P

      • Kamakuma

If we get this I’ll go to school dressed as a fancy Shinichi… in a beanie. (Sorry heiji-sama t.t)

      • Romancer Ecclesia

hmm… still not erotic enough and the art style is slightly inconsistent with the in game ones… don’t know whether that was a good idea. From an artistic perspective, too much clutter in the entire picture as well. It’s just my opinion though.

      • fayt255

        That’s a nice box!!!!!

  • megaten666

Every good game comes in March *sigh*

  • Will John

Nice they dropped the price down by 21 dollars

  • artemisthemp

Looks like I gonna import the US Limited Edition of Blazblue

  • koksuckaahh

I usually don’t bother with the Blazblue collectors editions cuz i don’t feel that they are really worth the extra pocket that Aksys charges for them (Extend’s limited edition wasn’t worth the extra 20 bucks though i got the bonus stuff for free) but since this is my first blazblue since extend back in march last year, and considering that this was one of my main driving forces for investing in a ps3 this late in the game, I guess i can spare the extra $30 to make it feel special.
