Japan will be getting plenty of Ground Zeroes goodies, but they’ll also be getting two limited edition versions of the game. While the figurines are always nice, fans might also want to take a look at the novelized book of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker that comes included.

Series director Hideo Kojima recently shared a sneak peek on his Twitter account, showing some of the images that will be in the book, along with the cover:

According to Kojima, series illustrator Yoji Shinkawa, known for his iconic artwork for the Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders series, worked on about 60 new fully-colored drawings for the book, making it one beefy novelization.

The premium package will be sold at Amazon Japan for 8,480 yen ($85) and 13,270 yen ($134) for the Konamistyle version, featuring a Playarts Kai Metallic Snake figure.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be available in March for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

That’s a premium level of a bonus. DO WANT

  • It’s a shame that Kojima has to do all this to get people to know Peace Walker’s story, I mean, it’s pretty nice we are getting swag but the PSP really limited the audience for such an important piece of the series.

Don’t worry, I still haven’t forgotten about the Legacy Collection.
