    Kagerou Daze!! XD

    • Lumi

With the anime airing in April it’ll be stupid not to have it! But sadly the other songs in the series is not in

      • pika09

Well, the successive songs in the series weren’t sung by Miku anymore, so there’s basically no chance for them to be included in Project Diva.

        • Aci

Well, i was hoping they’ll include artificial enemy. But this will do

  • Six

    Perfection.

Meltdown, Blackjack, and Kagerou Days are enough to make this one of my most anticipated games of the year.

  • nonscpo

Thats nice but I’ll wait patiently for the western release all these back to back games for the VITA are creating a backlog, Im scared I may have to start skipping releases at launch if this keeps up.

    • Kaien

It’s not only a matter of backlog (it’s a lost cause), there are too many Vita games I want this year, more than 10.

      • DarkLight

Pfft more than ten,I want more than 25.

        • tarbis

But, but… Vita has no games…..
Ugh… more backlogs for me. >_<

        • Kaien

25 Vita games this year? Wow

          • DarkLight

Lots of Jrpgs and maybe I made a slight exggaration heheh

    • Anesia Hunter

even if you don’t make everything day 1 buys doesn’t mean you’ll have to fully skip games. just get them when you can afford them.

  • Xerain

…swear to god they included every song I asked them to put in this. Except Rolling Girl. But that’s because they know we’ll happily buy that as DLC. They needed to leave SOMETHING out.

My copy should be here on Monday.

  • Ricardo C

I know this may sound odd to many many many people but I’ll be having the PS3 ver. physically and Vita ver. digitally. Why? I dont know, I prefer having the Vita as a Digital system unless its an import then I go physical.

  • Demeanor

Fellow gamers, there’s a demo on the jp psn store if you can’t possibly wait anymore. Song list is Cinderella, Packaged, Suki Kirai and Lariat, normal & easy as usual.

Received my copy earlier today and I’m significantly impressed. I was expecting the game to basically be a carbon copy of PDF, just with a new set of songs, but they’ve made some really interesting changes.

First thing I noticed is that the overall difficulty level has been increased. “Normal” in PDF 2nd feels a good amount more challenging than it did in PDF.

Another thing I noticed is that the star notes now require a bit more accuracy than they did before. In PDF, a Star note’s hit zone was either Cool, Fine, or Miss. In PDF 2nd they’ve added a Safe zone so you need to increase your accuracy a little bit.

The other new star note features of Tracked Star Notes and double scratch notes really feel like they bring the Star notes into the game properly, compared to how they just felt like a tack-on in PDF.

Finally, actually playing the game first hand you can tell they’ve done some very good work on improving the models in terms of movements. The choreography has been expanded, and the models all have noticeable improvements in the fluidity of their actions compared to PDF.

The biggest concern I had were the complaints about too many repeated songs from prior releases, but considering the improvements they’ve made the game engine, they don’t feel like a cop-out, and they instead feel like the team wanted to revisit some old favorites and give them the treatment they deserved using the much improved engine in PDF 2nd.

It’s a solid game, and you have to give props to Sega for announcing an intent to localize this before the game even released in Japan, though I think the proactive work there was to try and prevent importing by the borderline people who would prefer to buy a localized release if available but would import otherwise.

Very happy to see the Project Diva team continuing to improve the engine and promote the Rhythm game genre so strongly.

Bonus: Are you prepared for Extreme mode Tutorial Stage Levan Polka?

  • antochi

Still waiting for them to allow the voicebank to change depending on what character module you use. ;_; (It’s still not in this one yet, is it?)
I wouldn’t mind if they watered down other things just to allow that as a possibility. It would be so glorious to be able to not have to see Len sing in Miku’s voice for every song. orz (except for the one or two Len songs they so graciously allow in game…)

  • HououinKyouma

I didn’t know Kokoro was in here Q_Q.
