Europe’s Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Fan Edition Has Tarot Cards And T-Shirt

By Spencer . September 26, 2014 . 8:46am

Both sets of Persona tarot cards will make it to Europe. Rice Digital has one set with the Persona 4 Arena Ultimax fan edition. This bundle includes a copy of the game, tarot card ser #1, and a t-shirt. Fans will get to vote on the t-shirt design at a later date. While Sega is the publisher for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, the fan edition will only be sold through Rice Digital.

NISA America is distributing the second set of Persona tarot cards with Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth the Wild Cards edition. Both Persona titles will be available in Europe this November.

wait that price? Isn’t that a damn good price for EU? or am I just reading it wrong….

    • DP

Caught me of guard too and yes, it’s actually very reasonable more so when compared to Persona Q’s SE.

      • Uvers

I wouldn’t really consider this an SE though just some pre-order bonuses

        • British_Otaku

The difference is really getting blurred as of recent. Now even a single download code in the game case including few caps and recoloured weapons can be a special edition…

At the very least, this is something that they don’t plan to mass produce and comes with cards which are a major part of Persona’s recent limited editions from what I hear.

  • MinakoArisato

Great… And I already have preordered it as an import…
    Well, I don’t care.
But if there is a T-Shirt, I want it to have the Aigis suplexing Yu motive.
I love how Aigis beats that swag kid into a bloody pulp~<3

  • Postnjam

I expect the t-shirt to have a picture of a shirtless Yu, don’t let me down, Atlus!

  • Warboss Aohd

regardless of what the design is, the T-Shirt will without a doubt be too small for me.

    • Yeah, people making these promotions have crazy ideas about what’s a good size for promotional t-shirts. I still have my Persona 4 (PS2 game) promo t-shirt gathering dust somewhere.

When I bought the newest Mario Kart game for Wii U, they gave me a promo t-shirt and an actual choice for once: 2 child sizes, small, or medium. They just don’t realise some players are Bowser-sized.

      • Warboss Aohd

indeed, i’m at least 6’2, so height wise alone i need a 2X for.

  • Cyrus

Literally right after I got my friend in the US to buy me the US special edition. Oh, well, while it’s a good price, I’m not waiting til November. >p

  • DudeJericho

  • Hexodious

No iDeal payment, no buy. End of story.

  • MaidKillua

WAIT WE’RE ACTUALLY GETTING THIS ONE ON TIME??? SINCE WHEN? I’M SO CONFUSED AND EXCITED. And physical too… I must still be dreaming right? This is imaginary…

    • Heaven

You can thank NISA for that, so glad they’ve taken over publishing in Europe.

      • Cosmos Black

        Sega you mean?

        • MaidKillua

          Gotta localise fast

        • Ninten

Well, NISA is doing Persona Q.

  • Uvers

As tempting as the t-shirt sounds, I guess I’ll order from amazon due to laziness it really pisses me off that RICE are selling xilla-2 (day-1 ed) for £30 I still haven’t played my copy yet and I bought it full price back in August, just some first world problems

    • friendly neighborhood_dude

I got mine from Amazon UK for £31.66

      • Uvers

I paid £37.99 which to me is practically full price I consider £40 to be my threshold when to comes to paying for new games, although GAME are selling it for like £45 I think

        • It used to be that we never got Tales Of games here in the UK, and now I feel like… I can’t play them fast enough, stop bringing them out so quick! XD

Anyway, Bamco have this habit recently of letting you buy the special edition… then a few months later (when I still haven’t got round to playing), it’s 1/4 of the price with all the DLC bundled, in some PSN sale. Happened with the other Tales Of games, and the anime-tie-in-Musou games.. I decided, I’ll leave them to it and not buy their Special / Day One releases any more, because they make me feel like a sucker.

    • British_Otaku

Paid £50 I think for Senran Kagura Burst’s Life and Hometown edition (originally only 500 of em exclusive to Funstock) and now Rice seem to be selling them for £29.99. This sort of thing happens. :/

  • Snorlaxation

Hmm. I already pre ordered. Not sure If I wanna change it now. T-shirt… or no Tshirt…?

    • SpeeeeedowaGOOONnnn

Well this one dosent seem to have the DLC characters..

    • Amagidyne

Look at it this way, the t-shirt will most likely be in an XL size, so if you can wear the t-shirt and not have it look like a dress, go for it. If not, and you don’t think you’ll wear it, keep your original order.

      • “You will also receive a free, one-off Limited Edition T-Shirt in the size of your choice.”

      • Snorlaxation

        Good info.
        And I love your Username.

        • British_Otaku

Nah, the Rice Digital literally says that you will get a shirt in the “size of your choice.”
Amagidyne made a pessismistic guess which I would normally make for anime sets with clothes, but it wasn’t the case with Senran Kagura Burst’s Life and Hometown Edition:

          Or this.

          • Amagidyne

I was just going with what ATLUS did the last time I got a game with a free shirt (Catherine) which ended up being an XL. I think it’s rarer that you get to choose your size, since companies usually just make them XL. But hey, if they can choose, should help the OP out.

  • digitaldevil0

Anyone know if we europlebs get the Adachi and Marie DLC for free when it releases?

    • NeoStrayCat

No one knows yet, but hope for the possibility there.

  • Afternoon Intergalactic

I want a T-shirt too.. Merrrrrrrrrrp. Oh well.

  • Chim_era

November !! I’m going to have an absolutely splendid birthday.
Money that was going to be saved up for a ps4 OUT, Persona stuff in ;)

  • GreatKino

Buying NA version and this to support Atlus in EU!

    • cameron forsyth

      you da man!

  • Matheus Mendes

I don’t care for fighting games, but I really want those cards *–*

  • artemisthemp

Now I waiting to see the T-shirt design
