    3 months to go

  • dispedia

can’t wait for this. looks absolutely beautiful ^_^

    • Joshua Myers

I’m hoping for japanese voices sounds so awful with english voices

      • Zoozbuh

I’m hoping not to see too many of these kind of comments. Go away.

        • Raw

        • Revyatheworldeater .

I know right? I always look forward to news with multi lingual localizations because the comments aren’t full of people bitching and moaning over whether original voices or a localized dub should be included and which is a better approach.

  • Raw

OMFG, there’s text clipping in one of the synthesis screenshots. Please, don’t give us a botched localization again!

    • Satoshi Ookami

Atelier games never had a localization problems.
I mean, Atelier is one of KH IPs so they cannot afford bad translations.

  • Anontastic

    >they’re both actually addressed as “Shallie” in the dialogue

    Well THAT’s gonna be confusing.

Gust, you dun GOOFED. I would sucker up and buy the console version, but seeing as I’ve yet to complete Meruru, Ayesha, AND Escha, I have no problem waiting for the “Plus” version this time~

    • Poyon

Same here. I like the Atelier games, but I can wait for the Plus release down the road.

    • JohnNiles

How much of an upgrade do you think we’ll be getting with the Plus version? I kind of want to see the artwork at console resolution.

      • Anontastic

I expect the usual upgrades: All of the DLC, extra characters, new costumes and accessories, enhanced UI, along with any number of random enhancements and extra features like Totori Plus’ “viewing mode” for special event CGs.

I like seeing the artwork at console res too, so I’ll usually watch console gameplay vids online as I go through the game.

        • RedSuisei

Don’t forget the extra bosses, rebalancing, and most importantly, an extra ending in Meruru+

      • Raw

Well, the Dusk series doesn’t have that many CGs anyway (compared to the Arland series). All cutscenes are done in-engine.

  • Joseph A. Garcia

Ive always read the title as Atelier shaleighleigh

First trailer for the English ver.

    • JohnNiles

I’m hearing some Bosch. I’m a little less sure about the female protagonists.

      • Zoozbuh

Shallie (green haired girl? I don’t know which one’s which) seems to be Brina Palencia, who recently played Elle in Tales of Xillia 2. I can’t be absolutely sure but I really hope it’s her, as I love her voice :3 The other girl, I literally have no idea. Newer actress, maybe.

      • Ugh, I hope not, I’m tired of Bosch! I hear him in everything I watch and play.

    • Bob Slim

I will be getting this 1 unlike the last 2 dusk games didnt care about them at all

    • Kornelious

Huh, I kinda looked like there was a teaser at the end…Though that could just be another part of the trailer….Hmmmmm

      • DyLaN

That its just recycled footage from Ayesha and E&L OP =P

Though it does kinda tease something, but I doubt the actual thing will satisfy anyone.

  • PenguinPlayer

That second screnshot. I strangely know that feeel. ♪

  • This is the Atelier game I’m most excited for!

  • Linkmstr

Waiting for Vita version with all the nice extra content packed into one game.

    • Ugh, my god, are you serious? You must have the patience of a Tibetan monk! o.o

      • Linkmstr

lol, I don’t have the patience of a Tibetan monk. I just don’t have a PS3 to get it. Only a Vita. I got all three current Atelier games on the Vita and I’m happy with them.

        • Ooh, I see. That is unfortunate. Maybe you can get ps3 for Christmas. c:

          • Linkmstr

Nah, I’m good. I have a lot of games already so adding more in my backlog is going to ruin me.

          • Wow, what discipline.

          • Linkmstr

            What discipline? xD

  • Kornelious

From what I’ve seen from the trailer, the localization sounds like it’s coming along nicely….Though It said in one of the screens that this was the “Dusk World Finale”…I hope that’s not true, I’m still hoping for a fourth game that brings Ayesha and Logy back X(

Still can;t wait for the game though, Definitely a Day 1 but for me, and that’s saying as lot in the busy month of march :P

    • Yeah the Dusk series is the best of the Atelier franchise to me. The others are little bit…too immature for me? Y’know for lack of a better word. Dusk series brings a sense of maturity in a way. I don’t expect true realism or anything since it still has the typical anime-ish feel but you get what I mean. It’s Atelier without all the “kawaii sugoi” shiz.

  • Looking great! I can’t wait for this one. The new setting makes this look so much better than the previous ones – there are blues! And whites! And more colors than just brown! :D

This will be the first RPG I pick up in 2015 for sure. Can’t wait!

  • Satoshi Ookami

    Transparent textboxes? Nice. Very cute.

But the alchemy seems to be easier again :/
I do miss a bit more complicated system…

  • Bell

“Picking up traaash, for almost no caaash!’ Yeah, I’m gonna love this character.

  • Yan Zhao

I honestly dont know if I should just wait for the inevitable PLUS version on VIta…and yet at the same time all my other Atelier games are on PS3 so I’d like this to complete the collection. Sigh.
