Last year, Star Maiden Games put Mystic Destinies: Serendipity of Aeons on Kickstarter, in the hopes people would crowdfund the otome visual novel. It passed its $2,000 goal, earning $3,555 from 55 backers, was greenlit on Steam, and people were told to expect the game in early 2016. Now, it’s been confirmed that Mystic Destinies will arrive on February 11, 2016, in time for Valentine’s Day.
In Mystic Destinies, players follow a young woman who learns her family is known for their magical powers. Hers have only just awakened and, until she learns to properly use them, she must be partnered up with man with a rather supernatural nature. When the game launches, Shou Hatori’s route will be available. Shou is a Phoenix (don’t worry, he looks like a human) and has a spirited personality. His story has three different endings.
Mystic Destinies: Serendipity of Aeons will be available on PCs and mobile devices. This otome’s playable prologue is free, but people will have to pay for each of the five pursuable characters’ routes.
