Recommended Videos

Capcom announced that the PS4 version of their online title, Monster Hunter Frontier Z, is getting an open beta phase that starts on October 19, 2016 in Japan.

Fans will have between now and October 18 to submit their applications to participate in the demo. You’ll more than likely need a Japanese IP to participate, so we’ll leave that to your Google-Fu to figure out if you don’t already know how to do it.

There will also be a pre-load of the demo starting October 12. Those who do participate in the beta will get a Single-Handed Sword called “Beta Knife (light attribute)” as a bonus item.

Monster Hunter Frontier Z releases in Japan on November 22, 2016 for PlayStation 4. The beta will go from October 19 through 24.
