How The World Of Hyrule In Breath of the Wild Has Changed Since The Game Awards 2014

During the Game Awards back in 2014, fans were given the very look at gameplay from what would become The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, known at that point in time as “Zelda Wii U.” In that first bit of footage, a handful of areas from Hyrule were explored, and now GameXplain has tried their hand at finding these same locations from the original gameplay.

 

Surprisingly, the majority of the original map shown off in 2014 matches up with the map in the finished game, and many of the same areas exist, albeit some with slightly different details that changed during development.
