Where Is the Little Kitty, Big City Chameleon

One of the longest sidequests in Little Kitty, Big City is an extended hide-and-seek hunt where you find where a chameleon is over and over again. Aside from finding the character the first time, there are eight additional challenges to undertake.

Where do I find the Chameleon in Little Kitty, Big City for each part of the questline.

First, you need to meet the Chameleon and find it for the first time in Little Kitty, Big City. The character is on a wall in the zen garden area. I highlighted the area on the map, as well as took a screenshot of the new friend there. (Don’t forget to also take a nap on the rocks nearby while you’re here!) Talking to the Chameleon starts a series of eight challenges that will take you around the city.

Head to the construction site.

Your first stop is the construction site. The Chameleon is hiding in the port-a-potty next to the dog. Make sure you give that Shiba Inu a bone first, or it will bark at and scare the kitty!

Here’s where you need to go on the map, as well as a screenshot of the chameleon on the bathroom wall.

Head to the park!

This next spot is a two-for-one deal. First, you need to go to the park proper. The first place where you will find the Little Kitty, Big City Chameleon is at the top of the slide.

Here’s the map of the spot and a screenshot I took of the exact location.

Once you found the character there, turn around. On the road nearby is a row of vending machines. The Chameleon is right on top of them.

Again, here’s where you’ll see the Chameleon. You can even see its location without leaving the park area.

Head to the Gecku hobby store

Remember where the Gecku hobby shop where Ramune and her family lives is? That’s where you need to go next. The Chameleon is posing alongside some Gecku figures on a shelf you’ll need to jump up to.

Here’s the exact map for the location.

Go to where you found the gardener’s fish.

Remember back when you needed to get the gardener’s fish? The rooftop garden above the small grocery store? That’s where you are headed next. The storage alcove where the hose is plugged in is the next Chameleon hiding spot in Little Kitty, Big City. You will probably need at least two fishes’ worth of stamina to get to this spot, depending on how you climb up there.

Here is the map screenshot I marked and the spot of the Chameleon of the sealed space.

Climb up the ducts and air conditioners in the alley near the Gecku store.

This one might be the most challenging Chameleon hiding spot to reach in Little Kitty, Big City, as it is a situation where you need to perform a lot of tricky jumps to get to the lizard. First leap on to the yellow bar blocking the alley, then jump onto the box it is connected to. Leap onto the wall next to that. Walk down it, then jump onto the lower ductwork. Go there until you get to the closed off area with the vending machine. Jump up the pipes and air conditioners until you reach the upper ductwork. Then, walk along it until you meet the Chameleon again.

Here’s the map and a screenshot showing where you need to go. Since the Chameleon is hard to see in the screenshot, I circled the character as well.

Return to the docks.

Remember where you got the fisherman’s fish in Little Kitty, Big City? That’s where the Chameleon went after being in that alley. The character is near the eastern stairway down to the area where the person was fishing off the dock. You’ll see your buddy on a sign.

Here’s a closer look at the map and area that shows where to go.

Go to the convenience store’s bathroom.

This is the final step! The Chameleon is on the mirror in the bathroom at the convenience store. However, I’ve found the easiest way to get in there is to go where the dog in front of your apartment building is. Give it the bone that is in the hole in the fenced-off construction site, so you can climb on the boxes next to it. Then, jump onto the air conditioner and walk along the ledge until you reach the open window. That’s the bathroom, and you can even talk to the Chameleon without jumping down inside of the room.

Here are the screenshots I took of the location on the map and the open window you should be perched on.

For finding where the Chameleon is eight (technically nine) times, you get a Top Hat for the cat in Little Kitty, Big City.

Little Kitty, Big City is available for the Nintendo Switch , Xbox Series X, and PC.
