We recently learned that KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! is getting a new game by 5pb., and the company revealed in this week’s Famitsu that it’ll release this summer in Japan for PS4 and PS Vita. [Thanks, Hachima.]
In the magazine, it was revealed that the game will be a visual novel title, which was expected from it being 5pb. game, however, we also learned that it’ll have an original story that is different from what we’ve seen from KonoSuba.
The story of the game starts out with protagonist Kazuma putting on a cursed ring that makes him steal panties from those around him. The next day, Kazuma wakes up to realize that he has collected a vast number of unknown panties. He then consults Vanir about the ring only to find out that he’ll need a lot of money to get rid of its curse. And thus begins Kazuma’s new adventure to lift his curse.
Gameplay revolves around a “Panty Judgment” system, used to help figure out the owners of the many panties stolen by Kazuma. By returning panties to their rightful owner, you’ll get a rewarding event, but getting the wrong one will have a punishing event waiting for you.
KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! – Judgment to this Greedy Game! releases this summer in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game’s development is currently 40% complete.
