Injustice 2’s Gear System Detailed In Your Battles Your Way Video

Another Injustice 2 trailer has launched and this time, instead of going over a specific character or storyline, it’s centered on a gameplay element. In this installment, people will be able to customize their superheroes and villains with a Gear System.

People can collect abilities, equipment, and shaders in Injustice 2. These can be found after winning a fight. People will also be able to spend in-game currency on Mother Boxes, crates that have multiple items in them. Each character can have items equipped to their head, body, arms, legs, and an accessory slot. The equipment here can change characters’ appearances and attacks, as well as boost health, attack, or defense stats. While it is possible to mix and match items, putting together a complete equipment set can give the character a more specific boost. The video gives us a chance to see some of these equipment sets, as well as look briefly at how different items can change the way characters look.

Injustice 2 will come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16, 2017.
