We recently learned that Gintama: Project Last Game is now officially titled as Gintama Ranbu, and we got a first look at two new playable characters Kagura and Shinpachi in this week’s issue of Jump.
The scan shows Shinpachi using a sword and displaying some of his swordsmanship skills while Kagura is shown kicking butt. The first thing that stands out is that it certainly looks like a Musou-style game, but it should be interesting to see what they do differently for a game based on Gintama.
We also get a peek at familiar places like the Kabuki District and the Shinsengumi post. The magazine also teases a look at Gintoki’s Shiroyasha form fighting during the Joui War, and this will also be playable in the game.
Gintama Ranbu is in development for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
