Back in May 2017, we learned Chaos;Child would be released on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in both North America and Europe. Now, we have an exact release date for both regions. It will appear first in Europe on October 13, 2017. Then, on October 24, 2017, it will launch in North America.
Chaos;Child is a part of the Science Adventure series that also includes Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0. It is a sequel to Chaos;Head. While the Steins;Gate series is about multiple realities and time travel, Chaos;Head’s line is about people who have the power to alter reality. In Chaos;Child, we follow Takuru Miyashiro and help him deal with his delusions while also investigating the New Generation Murders with his classmates. Choosing whether Takuru does or doesn’t experience a delusion, or if the delusion he possibly goes through is positive or negative, alters the story in this visual novel.
Chaos;Child originally appeared on the Xbox One in Japan in 2014, before coming to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita in 2015. It is also available in Japanese on PCs, Android devices, and Apple devices.
