Those enamored with SteamWorld Dig 2 will have new purchasing options in Spring 2018. Rising Star Games and Image & Form will be releasing physical copies of the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of the game. These will be available in North America and Europe, include a double-sided poster and have a reversible inlay with new art.

SteamWorld Dig 2 follows a young robot named Dorothy as she searches for the protagonist of the original SteamWorld Dig, Rusty. She digs into the mines around El Machino, where he was last seen. As she gathers ore and valuables, she also gets the ability to upgrade herself. This increases her investigative abilities and allows her to reach new areas.

SteamWorld Dig 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC.
