Digimon Survive is going with a completely different direction from the conventional Digimon games with strategy RPG battles and a visual novel-style story. Here’s a look at its first screenshots from the official website.
In Digimon Survive, the choices you make will decide on the evolution of the monsters. Its story is about boys and girls who find themselves lost in another world, and they’ll need to fight together with mysterious monsters to fight through rough conditions and return back to their original world.
During the dangerous adventure, the choices you make will decide on the monsters’ evolutions as well as the story.
Here’s an example of what kind of choices you’ll make.
How will you proceed:
- Let’s split up and search.
- Let’s yell loudly to lure it.
- Let’s stick together and move.
Its graphics will show enhanced spatial presentation with 2D graphics. It’ll be used to show the fantasy-like alternate world and show its dramatic story and battles.
As previously reported, a “Digimon Thanksgiving 2018 Special Meeting & Latest Game Newsflash” will broadcast on July 29, 2018 at 3:00am PT and 6:00am ET via YouTube and NicoNico Live.
