How to Visit Other Worlds

To visit other worlds in SaGa Emerald Beyond, you simply need to access the Emerald Wave. This is essentially the road between all of the different worlds, and players pass through here to reach gates to other worlds. However, the issue with this is there are multiple different protagonists in the game.

Some protagonists gain access to the Emerald Wave and other worlds much faster than some of the others. For instance, if you play as Tsunanori Mido, the puppet master, you will have access to your first new world mere minutes after starting. But if you play as someone like the magical girl Ameya, get ready to play for a while.

The goal is to play through the main story of each character long enough to unlock the ability to traverse to other worlds. You’ll know you’re there when the camera changes to a more third-person behind-the-shoulder style of exploration. You will then have more options for branching paths, side content, and changing how the story progresses.
