Resident Evil Twitch Premiere Presentation Canceled

Back on August 10, 2018, Capcom revealed an official Resident Evil Twitch channel. The plan was for it to be used for weekly presentations and streams. The first was supposed to be held on August 23, 2018, but it has now been canceled.

No reason for the Resident Evil Twitch premiere delay was discussed. However, the official Twitter account promised an update and Kat, the Resident Evil Community Manager, offered an apology. As a reminder, Kat said on Twitter that the August 23, 2018 stream would be a test and introduction, and it would not involve the media-only Resident Evil 2 Claire demo being shown at gamescom 2018. You can see footage of that presentation here.

Resident Evil 2 will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2019.
