The next Super Smash Bros Ultimate Spirit event has been revealed by the game’s official Japanese Twitter account. Between January 4-7, 2019, people will be able to get Spirits taken from games that appeared on the NES and Famicom Disk System.
The tweet does not note if there will be any event-exclusive Spirits this time, like there was during the Super Mario series event. (Dice Block, Golden Dash Mushroom, and River Survival were only available during this Spirit Board event.) However, the image released does show a few of the characters we can collect. Among them are Sukapon from Joy Mech Fight, Kid Dracula from Akumajo Special: Boku Dracula-kun, Stanley from Donkey Kong 3, Donkey Kong & Lady from Donkey Kong, Excitebike, Balloon Fighter from Balloon Fight, and both Bubbles and Unira from Clu Clu Land. Since the Famicom Disk System was mentioned in the event’s announcement, we might see the Diskun Spirit too.
