Final Fantasy XIII’s mobile release is played through cloud streaming services made through “G-cluster technology,” from a Finnish cloud gaming provider. Square Enix recommend broadband connections of 3Mbps or higher to be able to play the game.

Additionally, Final Fantasy XIII for smartphone is free to download, and they’ll let you try out the first 30 minutes for free, but to unlock the rest of the game it will cost 2,000 yen.

Final Fantasy XIII is available in Japan for iOS and Android.
