This information comes from Sensor Tower, which released an analysis report of Dragon Quest Walk on April 24, 2024. Aside from analyzing how much money Dragon Quest Walk accumulated per year, we can also see that it makes the most revenue out of all of Square Enix’s mobile games. When it comes to similar games, people are also spending far more time on Dragon Quest Walk compared to Pikmin Bloom and Pokemon Go. Players spend an average of 192 minutes per week on Pokemon Go and 154 minutes on Pikmin Bloom. In comparison, people average 545 minutes weekly on Dragon Quest Walk.

As mentioned earlier, Dragon Quest Walk is very similar to Pokemon Go and Pikmin Bloom. It’s an AR game in which the phone uses your location information to send your character on adventures. You can also fight various monsters to level up and get items, as well as interact with characters. The quest system makes players go to real-world locations, which will unlock more enemies and characters. As of the time of writing, the game is only available in Japan.

Dragon Quest Walk is readily available on mobile devices in Japan.
