Birthdays the Beginning, the upcoming life simulation game by Bokujou Monogatari creator and Arc System Works got a new trailer showing us how life is created in a new world.

In Birthdays the Beginning, you’ll start out with a new world that is like your open canvas where you get to create life starting with its environment. From there, you’ll see life grow, evolve, and develop over time.

Since it’s your own world, you’ll get to mix and match various forms of life from ancient plants to dinosaurs, and even put together creatures from different eras on the same land.

Birthdays the Beginning releases in Japan on January 19, 2017 for PlayStation 4. The game is also headed to North America and Europe through NIS America.
