Nintendo Switch’s Upcoming Title ARMS Won’t Require Motion Control

During the Nintendo Treehouse Live this weekend, it was mentioned that their upcoming boxing-shooter hybrid, ARMS, won’t require players to use motion controls.

You can check out some ARMS gameplay from Nintendo Treehouse Live in the above video.

When the game was first revealed as well as during the play sessions after the presentation, we mostly got to see the game being played using motion controls, but we now know that players will have the option to switch between both.

While games such as Wii Sports and other casual-friendly titles come to mind, we got to check out ARMS for ourselves and its controls were pretty responsive and required a certain amount of thought, so it might not necessarily be the easiest thing for casual players to go up against seasoned motion control veterans.

ARMS releases in Spring 2017 for Nintendo Switch.
