Super Bomberman R released last week with the launch of the Nintendo Switch, selling approximately 37,000 copies in Japan and earning the place as the best-selling third-party game on the new console.
When compared to previous games in the Bomberman series, R actually performed incredibly well with its opening week being the best in the game’s series in twenty years. Additionally, it was one of the best opening weeks for the Bomberman series in general.
