Yoshi’s Switch Title Delayed From 2018 To 2019

A new Yoshi game was revealed for Nintendo Switch at last year’s E3 but it was nowhere to be seen at E3 2018. Nintendo confirmed that it has in fact been delayed from its 2018 release window to 2019.

When asked about the delay, Nintendo of America president and chief operating officer Reggie Fils-Aime said that Yoshi for Nintendo Switch “continues to be in development making great progress.” No further info was shared from Reggie.

Nintendo of America director of product marketing Bill Trinen told Kotaku that the game isn’t at this year’s E3 but he added that Nintendo will have updates on the game later this year.
