People looking to expand the Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal character roster have an opportunity to do so for free. The Gessen Character Set is now temporarily free. Until February 25, 2019, PlayStation 4 and PC owners can acquire four more ninjas. After February 25, 2019, the pack’s price will jump to $9.99.
The Gessen Character Set gives people four ninjas from the Gessen Girls’ Academy. After downloading and installing it, people can play as Minori, Murakumo, Shiki, and Yozokura in Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal. They also get a Gessen uniform, the normal outfits for each character, and the swimsuit outfits for each character.

In addition to the free DLC, update 1.03 has been released for Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal. This fixes a rather frustrating and critical bug that would make text automatically advance during visual novel segments, which would sometimes prevent people from reading through the story.
Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
