Last Labyrinth, an escape room virtual reality game from Doko Demo Issyo Director and Toro co-creator Hiromichi Takahashi, has a release date. PC and PlayStation 4 owners with VR headsets will be able to attempt to escape a mansion with a mysterious little girl named Katia on November 13, 2019.
In Last Labyrinth, you are bound and trapped in a wheelchair, with only the ability to move your head to indicate yes and know to Katia and direct her actions with a laser pointer. By directing her to things in the environment and signaling yes or no, you can help her solve puzzles that can lead to the two of you eventually escaping this environment. Because Katia speaks a foreign language (original to the game), there is a language barrier that can make things more challenging for players.

Katia is voiced by Stefanie Joosten, who provides her speaking and singing voice. She previously was used for capture purposes as Quiet in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (and provided her voice). More recently, she was also Icey in Icey and Sooma in Spacelords. The theme song was composed by Hiroki Kikuta, who was a composer on Secret of Mana, Trials of Mana, Rise of Mana, Concerto Gate, Shining Hearts, SoulCalibur V, Atelier Escha & Logy, and most recently the upcoming Indivisible.

Last Labyrinth will be available for the HTC Vive, Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, and Windows Mix Reality Headsets on November 13, 2019. Its official website is now open.
