Azur Lane Crosswave Formidable DLC Will Add Another Sturdy Ally To Your Team

Back in September 2019, Compile Heart announced more shipgirls would be pulling into port as Azur Lane: Crosswave DLC. Now, another one of these upcoming heroines has been revealed. Eventually, people will be able to add the Formidable aircraft carrier to their roster. Also, in the tweet announcing her, the company confirmed that five add-ons total are planned for the game.

In the original Azur Lane game, Formidable is a Royal Navy Super Rare ship. She can come in handy there, due to an Armored Hanger skill that decreases her damage and, if she launches an Airstrike, your fleet’s damage taken briefly and a Don’t Move an Inch! skill that can drop the speed of all enemies briefly.

Previously, Taihou was revealed as the first Azur Lane: Crosswave DLC. Taihou is also an aircraft carrier, though she is affiliated with the Sakura Empire.

Azur Lane: Crosswave is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 in Japan, and it will come to North America and Europe in 2020 on PS4 and PC via Steam.
