A New Sega and Atlus Survey Asks About Its Series and Subscription Services

A new Sega and Atlus survey are asking for people’s insights on their gaming habits yet again. This one isn’t especially shocking. It essentially asks about familiar and established Sega and Atlus series, like Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, Etrian Odyssey, Catherine, Judgment, ChuChu Rocket, Puyo Puyo, Sakura Wars, Valkyria Chronicles, Sonic the Hedgehog, Yakuza, and various Vanillaware games. It also asks which systems people use and subscription services they take advantage of.

Here’s Sega’s tweet:

Where things get interesting is when it gets to specifics about certain series. For example, expressing interest in Persona 4 leads to questions asking which games and spin-offs you are familiar with, what sorts of DLC you might like to see, and if you’d want remakes, remasters, or sequels.

Under the subscription services question, the Sega and Atlus survey asks which one people subscribe to. Ones with Atlus or Sega games already on them appear, like PlayStation Now and Xbox Games Pass. It also asks about services like Apple Arcade, Stadia Pro, and Nvidia GeForce Now in a “covering bases” sort of way. It also asks if people are a part of different membership groups like My Nintendo.

It also asks the usual platform questions. For example, the survey initially asks which systems people have played in the last few months. Then, it asks how likely people are to buy a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.

This Sega and Atlus survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. Though your time could end up varying and it might take longer, depending on your familiarity with different series.) As Sega noted later on Twitter, only answers from people in the United States and United Kingdom are being accepted.
