Aksys Triggering US Release Of BlazBlue Portable

Arc System Works is developing a PSP version of BlazBlue called BlazBlue Portable and it appears Aksys picked it up for distribution in North America under a different name.

Good old Gamefly has BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger in their PSP section. Considering how Gamefly leaked Aksys’ entire lineup in 2007 this is a fairly reliable source. Anyway, it’s unlikely that Aksys would pass on publishing BlazBlue Portable – it’s more of a matter of when than if. The “when” may be this March.

BlazBlue Portable has all twelve playable characters, an ad-hoc mode for versus play, and an all new legion mode where fights are spread on a tactical map.
