If you’re debating on forking over $600 for a PS3 computer entertainment system then you probably wouldn’t shell out $715 for an enhanced Sega Genesis. Recently a brand new JVC X’Eye sold on eBay for that price. The X’Eye is essentially a Genesis and a Sega CD in one unit. However, few of these systems exist since they were marked as consumer electronics rather than video game consoles which were considered toys in the ‘90s. The package comes with the console, Compton’s Encyclopedia, Prize Fighter (boxing game) and a karaoke sampler. Strangely the Sega CDX, another Genesis / Sega CD combo that doubles as a discman only sells for around $80.
