Attack on Titan 2’s Latest Footage Highlights Its Competitive Multiplayer And A Levi Event

Koei Tecmo shared the third part of their Attack on Titan 2 gameplay sessions with Mikasa and Armin’s voice actresses Yui Ishikawa and Marina Inoue along with a look at an event scene with Captain Levi.

In versus mode, you don’t actually fight the other players but you compete by seeing which side can slay the most Titans. However, there’s some teamwork involved, as you gain bonus points for defeating Titans when you’re near a party member, so it’s crucial to work with allies to score more points.

In the Levi event scene video, Eren and the player character are hanging out but then Levi shows up to tell them that Erwin ordered him to give them some personal tutoring, starting with a major cleaning of the barracks.

The next part shows Levi giving the player character a hard time for not cleaning the place as immaculately as you’d expect from the captain. The next scene shows them during break time, where Levi makes the player to prep some iced tea, which he surprisingly liked and asks where he learned to make it.

Check out our previous report to see Yui Ishikawa and Marina Inoue try out the gameplay action and tested out new features including the Hook Drive and Surprise Attack moves. They also shared a highlight of some character creation and interaction scenes.

Attack on Titan 2 releases in Japan on March 15, 2018 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game releases in North America and Europe on March 20 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
