Attack On Titan 2’s Annihilation Mode Is All About Earning Points

Koei Tecmo has revealed the online multiplayer modes that will be present in Attack on Titan 2. In addition to the cooperative Story and Scout Mission opportunities, where you can go online and fight Titans with teams of friends, there will be an Annihilation Mode. This is a 4v4 competitive affair with leaderboards.

 

In Attack on Titan 2’s Annihilation Mode, each team is trying to take down Titans to earn points. You can use Numbing Bullets to paralyze and Paint Bullets to mark an enemy. Your goal is try and halt the opposing team’s progress while trying to do as much damage as possible to the Titans alongside your own teammates. Chain Bonuses can be triggered if the team works together to defeat Titans, which earns more points. Points are also doubled in the last minute of a match.

Attack on Titan 2 will come to will come to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch and PC in Japan on March 15, 2018. It will appear on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC on March 20, 2018 in North America and Europe.
