Best Honkai: Star Rail Sushang Relic and Light Cone Build

We don’t have a lot of Physical characters in Honkai: Star Rail right now. That might mean someone would leave their Trailblazer on the Path of Destruction to cover that base. However, if you managed to get Sushang from the gacha, you have a Honkai: Star Rail character you can build up with Light Cones and Relic set pieces to also become one of the best attackers.

What are the best Light Cones for a Sushang build in Honkai: Star Rail?

Since Sushang’s moveset in Honkai: Star Rail is looking to her attack to determine damage, you want to ensure the Light Cones you pick for her build increase that. Since she’s on The Hunt path, increasing her speed doesn’t hurt either.

For three-stars, ensuring she does more damage can help. Arrows bolsters her critical rate by at least 12% briefly. You could also go with Darting Arrow, if you expect longer battles or ones with multiple waves. That increases her attack by at least 24% briefly after defeating an enemy.

With four-stars, I’d say either Only Silence Remains or Swordplay. The former increases her attack by at least 16% and has a chance to increase her odds of landing a critical hit by 12% if there are only 1-2 enemies around. Meanwhile, Swordplay increases her damage by up to five times if she keeps focusing on the same enemy and is great for boss fights.

For five-stars, Cruising in the Stellar Sea is basically an upgrade to Darting Arrow for her. It increases her critical rate, further increases it if the enemy’s health is below half, and increases her attack whenever she knocks out an opponent. I also like Sleep like the Dead a lot, as it increases her odds of landing a critical hit if she doesn’t deal one, then also increases her critical hit damage in general.

What are the best Relics for a Sushang build in Honkai: Star Rail?

Guess what? I’m not going to recommend Musketeer of Wild Wheat this time! I mean, it’s not a bad option for her, but your best bet and only go-to should be Champion of Streetwise Boxing. This is because you want to ensure Sushang’s attack and Physical damage is as high as possible when uou use her. Two pieces of this Honkai: Star Rail Relic set complements a Sushang build by increasing Physical damage by 10%, but four pieces is best because it boosts her attack by 5% after every attack she deals or enemy attack she takes. That’s limited to only five stacks of the buff, though. The Jarilo-VI Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Jabbing Punch holds this set inside.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for PCs and mobile devices, and PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
