Previously, Siliconera reported that Everybody’s Golf would be receiving Final Fantasy series collaborations, and more details have now emerged regarding what will be added. [Thanks, 4gamer!]
For ¥500 (~$4.60), there will be an actual Chocobo (in it’s Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon deformed look) that people can buy and ride around the golf course instead of a cart. The chocobo can actually jump, and glide from high places, as well as swim, expanding the places golfers can explore on the courses.
The Chocobo will be available for purchase starting on February 26, 2018.
There will also be a Collaboration Cup that awards people Cactuar caps and jackets for participating and a Moogle costume if you make it into the finals. The Collaboration Cup will be held from February 26, 2018 to March 12, 2018.
Finally, a 30th Anniversary logo branded golf cart will be available for free to all players starting February 26, 2018.
Everybody’s Golf is available for the PlayStation 4.
