Not to be confused with Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient, Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion will follow three characters as they explore the Amare Est Vivare hospital in search of content for their livestream. The protagonist will be Haruka Nanami (Kana Ichinose) who is described as beautiful but clumsy, and she is joined by her streamer friend Nemu Takanashi (Rie Takahashi) and the mature but knowledgeable Maria Hitsugi (Emiri Suyama). The official website has bios for these characters and promises more to be revealed.

The Corpse Party franchise began way back in 1996, but has since seen multiple sequels and spin-offs, as well as anime and manga adaptations.
