Check out the Crisis Core Reunion trailer below. It shows off the game’s new graphical style, which brings it into line with the style of recent FFVII revival projects, particularly Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Crisis Core Reunion is based on Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, which first released in 2007 on the PlayStation Portable. It was a prequel of sorts to Final Fantasy VII, and focused on the adventures of Zack Fair, a young member of SOLDIER who plays a key role in the backstory of FFVII protagonist Cloud Strife. Crisis Core helped flesh out the larger setting of FFVII, detailing the workings of Shinra’s private army, and introducing characters like Genesis and Angeal to the FFVII setting.
