Darksiders III Trailer Shows Fury Accepting Her Mission

After this morning’s Amazon product listing appearance, an official Darksiders III announcement has come in. Gunfire Games and THQ Nordic are developing the third entry in the series and will release it on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This adventure is set during the same period as Darksiders II and sends Fury, one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, after the Seven Deadly Sins.

An initial trailer has been released via IGN. In the video, we see Fury approaching The Charred Council as she passes her confined brother, War. They note that the Seals of the Apocalypse are broken and she is needed to handle the aftereffects. This will be an open-world game.

As a reminder, Gunfire Games was founded by David L. Adams, one of the founders of Vigil Games. Vigil Games was the developer behind both Darksiders and Darksiders II. Some of the Vigil Games’ staff also joined this new studio. Some of its recent releases include Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, Chronos, and Dead and Buried.

Darksiders III will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
