Disgaea Team’s Next Game Looks Like Z.H.P. With A Touch Of, Well, Disgaea

The God and Fate Revolution Paradox is the next title from the Disgaea team. While it doesn’t have a Laharl cameo yet, it has the spirit of Disgaea in it. Players can pick up and toss units plus there is a grid based world to move around in.

 

Most of the elements revealed so far remind me of Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman, a PSP roguelike with a customizable hero. Players can dress up Renya, the protagonist who runs into an angel, in various costumes. The God and Fate Revolution Paradox also resets your level when you leave a dungeon, but also has an overall level statistic. Dungeons in The God and Fate Revolution Paradox are randomly designed.
