Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia Brings In Avalanche’s Leader, Barret

Recommended Videos

A new Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia event has finally added one of the two missing Final Fantasy VII characters to the global version of the game. Right Arm with a Mission has begun, giving people a chance to recruit Barret Wallace. The event is completely free, and people have until May 20, 2019 to have him join the rest of the resistance.

To recruit Barret, people need to play through the Right Arm with a Mission quests until the Suspicions Dispelled cutscene is unlocked and seen. After it is completed, Barret permanently joins your party. If you complete RIght Arm with a Mission Pt. 3 and Pt. 4, you receive two five-star Tough Ring armor pieces for him to equip. If you beat Right Arm with a Mission Pt. 5, you get a five-star Assault Gun weapon for him to equip.

Here are Barret’s Command Abilities:

Big Shot

(Base use count: 5)

Ranged BRV attack.

Grants Phy ATK Up I to self for 2 turns.

Grenade Bomb

(Base use count: 5)

Group ranged BRV attack.

Grants 1 level of AVALANCHE to self for 3 turns. (Limit: 5 levels.)

AVALANCHE: Raises the party’s Max BRV, ATK; further raises own Max BRV, ATK (does not stack).

Here’s the Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia Barret introduction trailer.

Almost all of the other party members (and the primary antagonist) from Final Fantasy VII are immediately available in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia. Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie, Vincent, and Cait Sith are recruited during the campaign chapters, while Aerith, Cid, Sephiroth, and now Barret appeared during events. People who missed said events can now acquire Aerith through the Inheriting the Past Lost Chapter. (Lost Chapters for Cid and Sephiroth have not yet been added.) Red XIII is now the only member of the main cast who is missing.

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia is available for Android and Apple iOS devices.
