Dive Kicking Zero Brings More Drakengard 3 Screenshots

Drakengard 3 follows Zero on her quest to dispatch her sisters. We’ve seen her use a sword and spear while fighting monsters. These screenshots show two more weapons.

The Claw is unparalleled when it comes to speed. This speedy weapon makes it easy to connect attacks and keep a combo going. While it’s excellent for one-on-one combat, it isn’t effective if Zero is surrounded by enemies.

That’s where the Chakram or Battle Ring comes in handy. This weapon has low attack power, but it is useful when Zero is surrounded because it hits all of the enemies around her.

It sounds like the key to Drakengard 3’s battle system is the weapon change system which lets Zero switch between two weapons on the fly. You can even change weapons in the middle of a combo.
