Bandai Namco announced in this week’s issue of V-Jump magazine that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s Nintendo Switch version releases in Fall 2017 in Japan. Here are more details on new features and bonuses. [Thanks, @Baoliedao.]
First, the magazine has details on two big bonuses. The first is the “Time Patrol” main story from the first Dragon Ball Xenoverse, which will come included as part of an experience in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s Switch version as a limited-time bonus.
The second bonus will be available through first-print copies of the game, and it features a code that lets you unlock over 70 characters from the full game at the very start.
Following, we have three new system details for the upcoming Switch version. First is “Ad-Hoc Co-op Play,” which allows for up to six players to connect locally. The second new feature is the motion senor special attack feature, which will allow you to grab the Joy-Cons to perform a Kamehameha motion to launch the attack.
And finally, the third new feature is about the game allowing you to play 1v1 against a friend using Joy-Cons on the same console.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 releases in Japan in Fall 2017 for Nintendo Switch. The game is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
