In Dragon Quest Builders 2 you’ll need all the help you can get in building up Empty Island to make it less empty. The residents will be more useful than ever and this week’s Jump magazine shows us how with an introduction of the Automatic Building system. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]
For the Automatic Building system, you start out by spreading out a blueprint. From there you place all the items that are needed including furniture and blocks into the storage box. The residents then start working at this point and will take the required items from the store to create according to the blueprint.
Using this system you can practically make buildings and structures with ease, you can even create giant castle-like buildings and more.
The magazine also introduces new weaponry:
- Din Barrier: A powerful barrier that protects from enemy raids.
- Woosh Vacuum: A tornado that assaults nearby enemies.
- Sizz Tile: Fire shoots out when you’re on it.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 releases in Japan on December 20, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game is headed West in 2019. Check our previous report for a look at its new island called the Island of Endless Battle and here for details on its partial cross-platform support.
