Dragonsplague has been a major source of debate among Dragon’s Dogma 2 players. With this patch, Capcom have made it easier to deal with. For a start, the patch reduces the frequency that pawns can be infected, while signs of infection are now more noticeable. Capcom stated the example of glowing eyes being more visible.

However, dragonsplague isn’t the only change made to Pawn behavior within the new Dragon’s Dogma 2 patch. A number of changes have been made, mostly addressing unintended issues. This includes fixing times when players were unable to high five their Pawns, Pawns not guiding after offering and Pawns not speaking outside of combat. Pawns will now also be less likely to fall off cliffs.

The patch also aims to address a few other issues, such as adjustments to the mini map and various other unspecified bug fixes. There is also a new option to zoom in on character faces in menus. The full patch notes are available via the official website.

The previous Dragon’s Dogma 2 patch made starting a new game easier as well as making it easier to get a house.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is out now for the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
