While Elden Ring will have a cross save feature, it will be limited when it comes to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game. PlayStation 4 users will be able to transfer their save files to their PlayStation 5. However, it will not work the other way around. Those playing on the PlayStation 5 will not be able to transfer save files to the PlayStation 4.

That said, the Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions of Elden Ring will allow for users to freely transfer their save files between the two consoles. Neither console will have any limitations regarding this feature. Free upgrades will be available to consumers who have bought Elden Ring on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

A recent broadcast revealed 15 minutes of gameplay for Elden Ring. This also included the reveal of a collector’s edition. Two versions will be available to purchase.

Elden Ring will release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 25, 2022.
