English Patch Now Available For Wizardry Gaiden IV

After three years of hard work, some fans of the Wizardry series of first-person RPGs have released an English language patch for Wizardry Gaiden IV – Taima no Kodou (Wizardry Gaiden IV – Throb of the Demon’s Heart).

The Wizardry series, despite being first created in North America, gained a great deal of popularity in Japan, resulting in many Japanese-only entries in the series. Wizardry Gaiden IV has previously never been available to English speakers, and with its text-heavy interface and reams of NPC dialogue, it was often deemed too difficult to play or understand.

Wizardry Gaiden IV, which is set in medieval Japan, can now be experienced by English speakers using this patch. It is available for free from Romhacking.net.
