Europe gets a better version of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

Konami is releasing an extended version of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops in Europe. Their version will include an extra twelve characters to recruit and some of the characters who are already in the game will be tweaked to highlight their attributes. They will also get two extra maps for multiplayer battles, bringing the total number to ten. Finally, by beating “one of the game’s larger adversaries” you can unlock a boss battle mode, not seen in either the US or Japanese version. That’s a fair amount of bonus content “only” for Europe, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Greatest Hits / the best version of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops comes with the extra content found in the European release.
