After failing to prevent the end of the world, Tohm is enlisted by aliens to defeat the menace that now infests his broken planet using supernatural powers and a garden rake in sidescrolling sci-fi action RPG Credence Filter
Tohm will find many different beasts have settled into the planet in its destruction. Malevolent machines, zombified humans, underground creatures, and the remaining military are locked in combat, making every part of town dangerous. Tohm can fight them off with his rake, as well as some other powers provided by equippable trinkets he finds along his journey.
Tohm also has access to a few magical attacks due to his supernatural abilities. These powers let him channel Ghostspace, enhancing abilities, creating offensive powers, or just letting him see ghosts that inhabit an area.
Not all people Tohm comes across are bad, though. The game will not prevent you from killing these men and women if you see fit, though. In a world where you can come across the ghosts of the dead, creating additional hauntings by killing good people will have nasty effects later on.
A demo for Credence Filter is currently available on the game’s Kickstarter page.
