Following the May 20th release date for Japan, Square Enix confirmed Final Fantasy IX is coming to PlayStation Network in North America too.

When? Soon-ish. News about a digital re-release popped up on the PlayStation Blog promising “important announcement information” is coming soon. Since Final Fantasy IX passed a Sony test play in Japan and the game is due later this month, it can’t be that far away… can it?
