Nintendo has introduced Cyril, another young fellow, who similar to Flayn, is not directly a member of the Officer’s Academy. Just like Flayn, he has also been shown to be playable in the various demos shown off so far.

“I’m Cyril, servant of Lady Rhea, and Shamir’s apprentice.”

A young boy who works as a servant for High Priestess Rhea. He feels deeply grateful to her for saving him from his previous hard life as a war orphan. To this extent, he takes his Monastery work very seriously, to the point people think of him as aloof. In order to be helpful to Rhea, he is learning the basics of archery from Shamir.
