As the Drifting Luminescence character banner draws ever nearer for Genshin Impact, miHoYo has shown off the weapon banner that will run concurrently to Kokomi’s banner. The new 5-star weapon is the Everlasting Moonglow catalyst. Unsurprisingly, Everlasting Moonglow is a weapon that seems to strongly complement Kokomi’s kit.
Everlasting Moonglow increases Healing Bonus, as well as increases normal attack damage by 1% of the character’s Max HP. For characters like Kokomi and Barbara, who want to have high HP for maximum healing benefits, this means that they can have a slightly more offensive role in combat. Additionally, after using an Elemental Burst, normal attacks restore 0.6 energy, which shortens the amount of time between Bursts.
The other five-star banner weapon is the Primordial Jade Cutter sword. This is not a new weapon, but it has a similar effect to Everlasting Moonglow. It provides an attack bonus that scales off of the wielder’s Max HP. Other weapons that have a higher chance of appearing on the banner include regulars such as The Flute and Favonius Codex.
Genshin Impact is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The Drifting Luminescence and Everlasting Moonglow banners will launch on September 21, 2021.
